The developers of the NHS clinic have appealed against LBB’s refusal to grant planning permission for conversion of the site into private dwellings.
The refusal was made on the following grounds:
- The proposal would represent piecemeal development of the adjoining land leading to a sub-optimal regeneration of the area.
- By reason of the proposal’s height, siting and scale, the development would appear out of character with the streetscene of the local area.
- The proposed development would lack adequate on-site car-parking provision.
