A planning application has been received for 10A Sherman Road which is directly behind the recent proposal for 6-10 Sherman Road from BeLiving. This wholly independent development is described as a “mixed-use, 10-storey scheme comprising 6 x one bed, 3 x two bed flats and B1 commercial space”. Here are two images from the planning application:
The finish of the design is black and metal. There will be concerns raised about its proximity to homes in Northpoint (Sherman House), the height of the building and probably the design itself given that it is adjacent to a conservation area. As with the BeLiving proposal, the development is to be “car-free”, i.e. there will be no car-parking provided for the incoming residents/tenants. However, there will be space for yet more bicycles!
