Private developer, RELTA Ltd, has won a High Court judgement against the GLA’s designation of Bromley Town Centre as a “Housing Zone”. Although the full implications of this for Site A are not yet fully clear, the £27 million in GLA grants and loans that were to be made to LBB in order to accelerate housing development across the town centre will now not be available. This will almost certainly impact the viability of redeveloping Site A as previously planned.
